Situated just minutes away from downtown and The University of Alabama, we present a marina that transcends the ordinary. Nestled in a picturesque locale, our grounds boast meticulously manicured landscaping, a charming 1840s dogtrot cabin, state-of-the-art wood docks, a dedicated fueling dock, and the forthcoming Anchor 77 restaurant in 2025. Captain’s Club, positioned at the southern extremity of Lake Tuscaloosa within the NorthRiver Yacht Club, stands as the epitome of Tuscaloosa’s preeminent lake experience. Immerse yourself in the sophistication and serenity of our lakeside lawn and Mercantile, as we redefine the essence of a distinguished marina.
Joe Ingram has been skillfully serving and stewarding the Marina for three years. Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Joe takes pride in the Lake as well as the quality of experience at the Marina. He graduated from Northridge High School in 2020, where he not only excelled academically but also actively contributed as a leader to the varsity baseball team. Currently, Joe is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in real estate at the esteemed University of Alabama, while continuing to demonstrate his commitment to the Marina.
We are delighted to unveil the Captain’s Club Burgee, a distinctive flag that represents the Yacht Club or organization a boat belongs to. Dating back to the nineteenth century, a burgee acts as a personalized symbol for the vessel’s owner. Our flag has been thoughtfully designed, incorporating our brand’s deep blue striping as the primary visual element, complemented by a star symbolizing protection, guidance, and good fortune. As a gesture of our warm welcome, we will be presenting these burgees to every new member who secures a slip at the Captain’s Club.
